Public speaking has been a key element in the success in workplaces and modern education. In an IB school, students are expected to construct their independent thinking styles through inter-disciplinary and inquiry-based learning.
In Winter School 2020, G9 and G10 students were given the challenge to read materials and prepare for debate/presentation topics in World Scholar's Cup curriculum. While these topics were contextualized and cross-disciplinary, students needed to conduct independent or group research in order to structure their answers logically. Every class meeting thus became a mini-research seminar.
