Grade 11 Business Management (BM) have been learning about Business Organization and Environment (Unit 1) this semester.
This group was sharing about section 1.2, Types of organizations. They were able to clearly explain the differences and main features of the various types, including sole trader, partnership, for-profit, non-profit, public and private companies and enterprises.
Grade 12 Business Management (BM) have been learning about Operations Management (Unit 5) this semester.
This group was sharing about section 5.4, Location. They were able to summarize and explain the key aspects of the 7 qualitative factors described in the textbook.
Each group went further with the content by making connections and applications to real-life contexts. This helped the BM concepts and knowledge become more relevant and relatable for the other students. Overall, group collaboration and presentation has been a more engaging way of student learning and teaching than the traditional lecture method. Developing the skills necessary for group work and presentation will also benefit these students in the long run as they continue in college and their respective careers.
