The fifth annual Kuei SHan Model United Nations Conference was held on February 17-18, 2024, and it is the first ever KSMUN conference to welcome delegates from different schools. This year, KSMUN held three committees: the UNEA, WHO, and Legislative Yuan.
The UNEA focused on the topic of E-waste Management and Technology Sustainability. It was great to see how well prepared all the UNEA delegates were and congratulations for passing a resolution!
The WHO committee focused on the topic of Addressing Health Security in Times of Conflict. Although the WHO delegates struggled a little in the first committee session, they were soon able to adapt to challenges and had great debates! Good job for overcoming these challenges!
The Legislative Yuan was a specialised committee that focused on the topic of Addressing the Topic of the Legal Status of Taiwan and China. Delegates represented different legislators and had rigorous discussions on the Taiwanese political status. The Legislative Yuan delegates’ performances were truly impressive!
Overall, thanks to all the teachers, secretariats, and staff that contributed and helped make KSMUN V possible. To all delegates who participated in KSMUN V, hope you all had a great time!
