Some of our G11 English and Literature students got into the act and led our tenth graders in an English workshop recently. As a component of service action learning, the Juniors featured here designed this workshop to help their younger counterparts handle writing essays in the English Language with a bit more aplomb and style. The G10 students are in their last year with the MYP and eager to improve their composition skills before next year's DP English classes begin. According to Mrs. Jillianne Burrow, "this workshop connects with Kuei Shan's mission statement TRUTH, where students get to learn beyond their classroom and experience a holistic approach to their learning. This workshop is a great learning experience for both the G10 and 11 students."
