On 14th March 2024, Kuei Shan students celebrated International Pi Day, where students from Grades 9 and 10 came together to celebrate the mathematical constant π in a fun and educational way. The event involved enthusiastic presentations by our Grade 9 and 10 students to Grade 4 to 8 students.
They showcased their passion for mathematics by exploring a variety of intriguing mathematics topics and its relation with international mindedness. From the applications of π in real-world scenarios to the mysteries of infinite series, each presentation captivated the young audience and highlighted the beauty of mathematics as well as its significant role in shaping our world in which we live.
Together, we celebrated the beauty and relevance of mathematics, reinforcing its significant role in shaping our world and inspiring future generations of mathematicians.
