Our 9th grade Language and Literature: English students have been busy studying digital and multimodal texts in "Unit 5: Surfing the Web." What are features and conventions of websites? How can writers use conventions of wikis to impact specific audiences? Our 9th graders students have been exploring the conventions of these text types and how those features can be used to impact audiences.
After learning about these concepts, the students had a chance to demonstrate their understanding by creating their own podcasts for their summative assessment!
