On Friday, March 29, Kuei Shan held its annual Career Day Workshop for our Grade 11 students. In the morning our juniors attended multiple career-oriented workshops led by industry professionals. Our workshop leaders included seasoned professionals in the areas of the sciences, medicine, law, politics, finance, marketing, graphic design, and film making. Our juniors learned all about many exciting and varied career fields that these workshop leaders introduced and what the next steps could be to selecting the right programs at the best universities to help them move forward on their pathway toward an exciting and meaningful career.
In the afternoon our juniors enjoyed a field trip to the Hsinchu Science-based Industrial Park and toured the TSMC chip-making facilities. During the tour, our juniors learned about the important work being done in Taiwan to help propel the world forward to more effective use of technology to build a better future for the next generation.
