在2023的泰北短宣隊在此宣佈圓滿成功！同學們放棄了難得的聖誕連假，選擇與老師一同前往一個人生地不熟的地方服務。在這六天的旅程中學生們遇到了很多大大小小的困難及挫折，其中包含盥洗問題、蟲蟲危機、溫度考驗、語言隔閡等，但同時學生們也學習到了如何與不同成長背景的人相處、為何需要尊重當地文化、同學們也都勇敢的踏出了自己的舒適圈。
The Kuei Shan 2023 Thailand Mission Team is pleased to announce the successful completion of our service trip! Students sacrificed their precious Christmas breaks to join teachers on a service trip to a foreign country, and we learned a great deal. Throughout the six-day trip, we faced various challenges and setbacks, including hygiene issues, insect crises, temperature challenges, language barriers, and more. However, at the same time, we learned how to interact with people from different backgrounds, the importance of respecting local cultures, and the importance of stepping out of our comfort zones.
剛開始學生們都在福泰教會進行了中文教學的活動，在與他們玩樂教學的過程中，學生們不只學會教導別人也更願意與當地的小孩互動。接下來到了晨曦會戒毒村的撒母耳之家，很多同學在一開始還沒到時就先入為主的認為那裡的小孩都會吸毒，但到了當地證明他們的小孩很健康且活潑有愛心，同學們在當地也幫助他們畫牆壁以及勞動服務，當然同學們在過程中都會遇到困難，比如顏料畫錯還有體力不支，這些都是學生們在當時所面臨的挑戰，最後也完美的完成了工作。
Initially, we conducted Chinese teaching activities at Fullthai Church. During the teaching process, we not only learned to teach others but also became more willing to interact with the local children. Moving on to the House of Samuel, many of us initially had preconceptions that the children there might be involved in drug use. However, upon arrival, we discovered that the local children were healthy, lively, and caring. We assisted with mural painting and labor services, overcoming challenges such as painting mistakes and physical exhaustion.
到了山上的惠悅村每個同學都找到了屬於自己的優勢，有些人帶領著小孩們玩樂，有些人用簡單的語言或是肢體動作教導中文，在山上每個同學都把最好的一面拿出來。最後在家訪時很多人看到當地的狀況後變得更成熟，也知道當地需要些什麼，在家訪時可以看到當地的惡劣環境以及貧窮的面貌，讓同學們更知道自己所擁有的資源多麼的難能可貴。
In Huiyue Village in the mountains, each student found their own strengths. Some led children in activities, while others taught Chinese using simple language or gestures. Each of us showcased our best qualities through our service. During home visits, many students matured as they observed the local conditions and understood the needs of the community. The challenging living conditions and poverty they witnessed during home visits made students appreciate the value of their own resources.
