The Scout Tenderfoot Camp is an annual Scout event in Kuei Shan. The event is planned and managed by high school students who volunteered to serve, which formed the "Student Scout Service Team".
Kuei Shan 's founder upholds the philosophy of "everyone is a Scout", therefore, all the seven graders must participate in the camp as Tenderfoots. They get tested on their Scout skills in the camp, those who pass the test will walk the "Road to Brightness", take an oath, wear the Kuei Shan group scarf, and become a member of Troop 325, " Kuei Shan Middle School".
The Tenderfoots are tested not only on their abilities, but also the challenged to step out of their comfort zone, learn to cooperate and so on. For students in the Service Team, it is also a good opportunity to practice planning activities. No matter which role we play, the Tenderfoot Camp can prepare us to become a better student and a better self.
